At least he took his loss like a champ
I totally KNEW Ted would ask her to buy the bar a round! :D
Shelby gave no fucks here. Even if Ford fired him he knew that A. They wouldn't win without him and B. He had a successful business himself to fall back on. So let them hear the honest truth
after seeing my father pass away in front of me and my brother this movie really emotionally hits me very hard my father protected me and my brother alot i loved my father more then a son could really.. tears me up..
So if Ken miles broke records he still should of won.
I am old and played a lot of pool in my younger day, in the 60's and 70's. I could spot a hustle from a mile away, usually. But when I was successfully hustled I was pissed but impressed. Only a very smart person can pull a real hustle.
This was just incredible
A cow is a racehorse designed by a committee...
What I love having rewatched the show knowing their backstory is that at no point did Ted hold his act of kindness over Beard or made him feel guilty in any way. It’s on brand for Ted as a character and the ethos of the show in general. Also in the pilot Beard is reading all the football books on the plane and I’m sure was carrying around a sense of duty/self-guilt towards Ted for what he did and wants to assist his friend by becoming a fountain of football knowledge. This is why the plane scene in the finale is so satisfying. Having been the loyal Goose to Ted’s Maverick and forgiven Nate, Beard was finally able to forgive himself and have a life with Jane that he probably never thought he could have or deserved to have. Thanks to Ted, he got a second chance and made the absolute most of it. The same is true for Nate in this moment, he is not going to waste this second chance as he finally realises he turned his back on and hurt the people that actually supported him and valued him and he’ll never do that again. This show ❤️
This movie relates my life. Hardwork and dedication always pays off. Just a lil piece of happiness brings tears in our eyes. Love you will. Phenomenal actor. ❤
There is a scene in the movie where Carrol Shelby drives the 'DEUCE' in the fledgling GT 40. Henry Ford II cries at the end. Many comment that it's his exhilaration and the emotion that he wishes his father could have experienced these sensations. As a nationally certified and professional racing and high performance driving instructor, I have a different perspective. Even in race configured 'street' cars, people have no idea what it's like to be in one where a professional driver puts it at or near the limit. I have driven hundreds of students and other passengers around tracks and have had every human emotion displayed from screaming to vomiting to crying to peeing their pants to whooping with joy. I can never predict what the reaction will be, even though I never drive above 8/10ths. Perhaps the most spot on reaction is contained in the following clip from the movie 'FORD VS FERRARI, which chronicles Ford's pursuit of victory in the mid 1960's 24 Heures Du Mans in France. ua-cam.com/video/EJLT9cQZDXw/v-deo.html I can tell you, from personal experience, that Henry Ford II's (The 'DEUCE') reaction is from unadulterated fear, not from exhilaration. Pay close attention when Carroll Shelby's chief mechanic says, "It's about right now when the uninitiated have a tendency to soil themselves." If you've never done this, put it on your 'bucket List': You will not be disappointed!
Ted only played darts once a week for 6 years, he could’ve been the goat
The best ever!!
Phuc boy got Phuc'ed, by Phuc.
It's true justice that Ted quotes an American Poet in Britain. True "poetic" 👍
3:29 when you're done taking a huge ass shit after holding it in for so long
Crazy Shelby had to risk losing his own car brand all in order to do Ford a favor and have them get out of their own way.
You..who are you? YU... no not me, who are you? YU...not me you... yes I am YU Scene from Rush Hour
I was math genius before I turned evil
"I forgot I'm left-handed." 😂
It’s perfect cry of both joy and sadness.
I still cannot go past his physique in this flim Those traps are just absurd
I wonder how many times when an English person says Hillybilly about American and an American says without us you would be speaking German does that get very annoying for you people across the pond or you just like Yep thats true I will shut up
The fact that each of them is a gangster in their own way but the way they respect the hierarchy is just absolute pleasure to watch
Apparences are deceptive.
I love that Shelby was willing to bet everything cause he had that much trust in Ken Miles lol

oh my god i met tad lasso in engerland and we ..... well lets just say he has some BIG soccer balls.
ted lasto
No music, class acting , perfect screenplay 🔥
Shane solves revolution problem. What would a new constitution look like? That's how I solved it.
if Ted doesnt lie and says he is more of a cornhole man, then imagine how good he is at cornholing
One of the best scenes in television
We can say a lot of things about Will Smith but this play in particular is gold. We could say anything about the real story, but this story in particular is inspiring and touching. My troat gets swollen like of a pelican's eating a submarine when I watch this scene.
I .... I realy miss playiung pool with my dad...wish we played more
well this makes me wanna watch the show now
DO it, you will not be disappointed!
Ted squad, assemble!!
Creepy ass teacher 💀
The atmosphere, the oi oi mate ladz, the wanka thing.....typical London. You can't hate that.
Henry Ford II was named after his grandfather, Henry Ford. Etzel Ford was Henry Ford II's father who died of stomach cancer at age 49. Etzel always wanted to bring Ford into racing and build fast cars but his father wouldn't allow it. Etzel had loved cars since he was a toddler and raised his son to love cars too. Etzel Ford would have loved to feel the power of the GT and see how far Ford has come. He was taken too soon.
Be curious not judgemental. I always ask questions, because im curious. And its always young people (20's) that never reciprocate. They just answer and then nothing lol
"Be curious, not judgmental" I like that
To my person. Thank you for everything you taught me in such a short space of time. I have love you. I did my best. Thank you for the opportunity to say goodbye and the strength you showed to say it wasn't working for you in person. My greatest act of love was letting you go. The sunset was beautiful...
One of the best after Scarface
Also a great example of coercive control/post separation abuse.
Open the door😂😂😂
He scienced the shit out of that argument with Henry Ford to keep his job
